PERM-E-LASTIC Glazing Compound is a ready-to-use oil based elastic compound specially formulated for interior or exterior use on wood or metal sash (including aluminum). PERM-E-LASTIC Glazing Compound adheres tenaciously to sash and glass, expands and contracts with the weather and forms a tough surface coating yet remains permanently elastic. Paint after skin has formed (usually within 48 to 96 hours depending on weather conditions) or at least within 4 weeks time with a quality oil-based or latex paint. If necessary, paint can be applied immediately with a quality oil-based paint only.
